Golitha Falls

Today I love: Golitha Falls

What: Golitha Falls is a nature reserve that is set on the River Fowey, near Liskeard. It is set within an ancient woodland and is made up of a number of cascading waterfalls. It is a designated site of scientific interest, because of wealth of woodland flora.

Where: Parking @ 15 Well Ln, Liskeard PL14 5ED

Why: It doesn’t need a lot of explanation. This is a lovely spot for a family walk. You can explore the clearly marked, well maintained footpaths, you can dip your toes in the river and the falls and you can catch little fish in nets. What more will you need to be persuaded to visit?

On the day we went, the warm summer sun added to the overall joy, but I imagine that this is a restful, peaceful, joyful place all year round.

How Much: Free!
